I have been practising yoga only for the past 6 months. I'm having difficulty doing headstand. Whenever my head is upside down, i feel lost and scare. I lost control of myself and till now still not able to do the headstand. Anyone have the same problem? or anyone can tell me what should i do to over come this problem?

When I first started practicing, I never dared try headstand, so good for you for trying!!! I think it’s natural to feel a little scared. If I were you I would try it with a teacher or with a friend spotting you, against a wall so you can get the feeling of being upside down while still being supported.

Whatever you do, never, never kick up into headstand! Always lift your feet slowly.

It took me a long time to come up into headstand, because it’s a very different perspective and is quite nerve-racking! What really helped me was developing more core strength. And keep practicing! Practice makes practice.
