Benefits from power yoga

I was just wondering what the benefits are to power yoga...is it a type of yoga that is supposed to build up your cardio area or is it just for endurance strengthening?

I find it helps with both. If I am practicing power yoga I am a better runner and athlete in general. If I am working on anything I find that yoga helps. Holding postures helps build cardiovascular strength, as well as builds lung capacity. Yoga is a very healthy practice that benefits all aspects of your wellbeing.

Power yoga is great for strength training as well as cardio health. But I think it goes beyond that. The fast pace allows your brain to remain stimulated as it comes into a single pointed focus. The heat allows you to flush toxins from your body. And finally, the moving meditation of a power class can help calm you completely, reducing stress and all of its other debilitating qualities.
