Enough to get the same benefits

I do enjoy power yoga, but am wondering if 30-45 minutes/day, is enough to get the same benefits as from weights?

I don't think the benefits can be compared, because they are different types of muscles being worked and different styles of exercise. The exertion in yoga can be as intense in weight lifting, but it is usually a combination of strength, flexibility, and balance that brings the intensity to the practice.

It's probably good to combine if you are going for strength or muscle tone. But if you practice every day and work on strengthening postures like standing warriors, inversions, and arm balances, yoga does have the potential to build great strength in the practitioner.
