I'm looking for new sequences to add to my routine. I would love to hear of some flows that other people here enjoy.

Tonight my teacher led us through a sequence using Archer or Gomukhasana arms that I found to be really fun and interesting! We started in a regular Virabhadrasana 1 and then took whatever bind we were able to with our arms. From there, we kept the arms intact for the remainder of the sequence, holding each pose 5-7 breaths: Virabhadrasana 1, Virabhadrasana 2, Trikonasana, Prasarita Paddotanasana, Parsvottanasana. It was quite a relief to come out of Parsvo and let the arms go! Lots of fun.

Have you ever tried working Vrksasana into a regular vinyasa? That's always a fun variation. Start laying down on one side of the body and find your tree. Then roll onto your belly, opening the hip and keeping your tree as you push up into high plank. From here you take Vashistasana, trying to keep the tree leg positioning intact. From there, still with the Vrksasana leg alignment, take a complete vinyasa with chaturanga, updog, and downdog. release your tree leg and roll the hip open in downward facing dog! Phew! Good job!
