Pimples on my face

After I started doing alternate nostril breathing, I observe that I perspire more. I see lot of pimples on my face. Please let me know whether this happens for all the beginners and will come to normal position after some days or I am doing something wrong.

As with any energetic release, it is common for your body to react by sweating and breaking out. A lot of people interpret this as your body expelling negativity or flushing toxens from your system. In a few weeks, if you are still breaking out, I would consult someone, but in the meantime I think what’s happening is normal.

Nadi Shodana (alternate nostril breathing) is a practice that is meant to balance the two different sides of the body, as well as all of your little energy centers (nadis), of which you have millions! I think it is likely that something got stirred up from an imbalance or impurity in your system, and things will likely clear up soon… hopefully even more clear than before!

While I haven’t heard of this happening before, I don’t think it’s strange or uncommon. It’s amazing what these practices can do to us!
