I would like to become an accredited and certified Yoga teacher to be able to teach. What qualification do I need to get and how? I understand there are Yoga courses in India for 4 weeks but are they accredited to teach worldwide? Any information?

I know that in the United States there is the Yoga Alliance that has a certification process for yoga schools to go through. I think you need to do 200 hours of schooling to become a registered yoga teacher, or RYT.

I took my yoga certification in Hawaii and had an amazing experience! They were Yoga Alliance Certified and it was a three week program. I imagine four weeks would be enough for all you need, but you might want to check with the Yoga Alliance, I believe they have an international branch.
