Men of great knowledge actually found out about all these chakras- their workings, their petals, their sounds, their infinity, their co-relationship, their powers. They found out what the chakras were. And they found out that the life of a human is totally based on these chakras. They develop it into a whole science. This science gave birth to kundalini Yoga. That is how Kundalini Yoga was born.-

Chakras are the seven major centers of
psychic energy located along the spinal
column; and responsible for the
condition of your mind, body and spirit.

Each Chakra is associated with a
specific quality. They're also associated
with organs and glands.
These points of energy can be in
balance or blocked and therefore out of
balance as the system in the physical body.
As Gurmukh explained in her book
The Eight Human Talents each
chakra has a unique human talent when
is in balance; and a shadow emotion
when is out of balance. The energetic
imbalance in the chakras is considered
directly related to the creation of illness.

Yogi Bhajan told us that most of
people’s problems are due to an energy
blockage in the inferior chakras. He was
referring to the first and second chakras.
