Shoulder Stand- Sarvangasana

Begin by lying flat on the back. While inhaling, raise the legs and spine so that the toes point toward the ceiling, allowing the body to rest on the shoulders and back of the neck. Place the hands on the center of the spine to support the body. Keeping the spine and legs straight, hold the position breathing slowly and deeply.

  • It improves the function of the thyroid gland as well as circulation. Great to loose weight.
  • It helps to strengthen the lower organs and stretches the neck muscles.
  • It can improve constipation, indigestion, asthma, painful menstruation and reduced virility.
