Spinal Twist On The Floor - Cat Stretch - Jathara Parivartanasana



With both legs: Begin on your back. Bring both knees towards the chest. Then bring the knees together to the right side as close as possible to the floor. Hold for a moment. Then inhale and return the back to a flat position.

With one leg: Bring left knee to the chest, place the right hand on the outside of the right knee and bring the knee all the way down to the floor on right side, with the head look to the left. Hold and repeat in the other side.

  • It serves to stretch the back torso and neck and gently massages the spine and belly organs.
