Practice

Ananda Yoga emphasizes the practice of relaxing into postures. The technique includes the following: Asana, Pranayama, Meditation and Yoga philosophy. Yogananda taught his students a unique method called The Energizing Exercises. This practice consists of a series of 39 �special energy� control techniques developed to help the practitioner increase focus, control the life force and become aware of the body's energy through individual muscle tensing and releasing, accompanied by an energizing �double� breath.
