Lately, the word “enlightenment” seems to appear everywhere: in magazines, articles, books, etc. Enlightenment is the highest knot at the end of the rope, also known as Nirvana and Bliss. This high level of happiness and contentment can be achieved through practicing Yoga.
Enlightenment means “being in light”, “living in light”, and “experiencing light at all times, no matter the circumstances”. Many people strive to experience enlightenment.
Spiritual leaders agree that this is not something you have to look for outside of yourself. It’s something that is happening inside of you at all times. Our body works in this way, which is not considered as something spiritual, but factual.
At a cellular level, all cells work toward the same goal, which is to keep the body alive, even if they must sacrifice themselves for this cause. They are all in contact transmitting messages throughout the whole body. They adapt to any new situation. Cells can work independently but all of them are accepted to be equally important. They are creative adapting new functions they never did before, as when we move in a way we never did before, or eat something new. The cells have specifics jobs some are cardiac, some work in the liver, or other parts of the body, and some work in more than one task, but in the laboratory they are the same at they core, and when needed they combine themselves in new ways. They are part of the universal cycle of rest and activity. They store minimum energy. The cells only keep energy to function during three more seconds, and will die soon after that if they are disconnected from the source of energy. They are also connected to their origin; the healthy cell can perform tasks for another part of the body because generically they are the same, but they always return to the part in the body from which they were originated. Their main goal is to give. Always transmitting, receiving, with a total compromise. When they reproduce, they pass the information to the rest of the cells without restrictions.
What happens to us? If this happens to be the natural and instinctive way our body works, why do we live in egoism, excessive consume, obsessive activity, and aggressiveness?
In fact the main agent or cause of cancerous cells is “greed” which is something inconceivable for our cells. It seems that by copying the real nature of our beings we will be liberated from unhappiness, depression, and illness.
