Hello;
I am interested in begining Yoga and I am 54 yrs old. My concern is that I am having problems with neck and arms. My knees are very sore and in pain every once in a while. I had a fall on my knees around three years ago and ever since they have not been the same, when I think they are getting better I make a movement and it seems to dislodge the knee.
Is there anything you could tell me about this if known.
I went to a Doctor and he said that I needed surgery but I do not believe him. I am determined to get well no matter what it takes.

If I were you, I will consult another doctor before to make a decision. Yoga can help you improve your condition, and easy the anxiety that it can create.
Can you attend yoga classes in your area?, that would be the most beneficial thing for you to do. The yoga teacher can help you and guide you in your practice.
