Everytime I close my eyes to meditate my body starts moving. It sways like a pendelum from side to side, clockwise, counter clockwise, sometimes, my neck goes right up that I am staring at the ceiling and sometimes my whole body just vibrates. I dont understanding what is happening to me. Is this normal. please help
Sometimes we can experience shaking when meditating. This can be due to keep the sitting position for long time, and during this time the nervous system is going through different stages, thoughts, etc, adjusting itself. Don’t worry, and don’t try to avoid. Allow it and the sensation will reduce and disappear.
Also, think that we are not used to feel these sensations, and they might be uncomfortable, until you feel familiar with it.
