Hi,I am a 61 year old female. I am now BATTLING my 31 year smoking addiction. I have COPD and SCLE Lupus (skin Lupus) While being tortured putting down cigs, my Lupus is flaring due to the additional stress of working on quitting cigs. Help I thought of Yoga as an aid in relaxing, working on freeing myself from the terrible stress Is Yoga for me, especially meditation.
Congratulations!! Tobacco is one of the strongest addiction, and you will need some time to recover from its effects, but I am sure that yoga can help you enormously find peace, sleep well, and feel happier.
I would recommend you to attend yoga classes where you can share your experiences with other people, and enjoy the guidance of a teacher as well.
This is a very beneficial meditation for women.
