I’ve found this info online, maybe can help !:

“Breathing through the nose has many benefits. Breathing through the mouth, many negatives. There are some researchers who believe that mouth breathing and associated hyperventilation causes or exacerbates asthma, high blood pressure, heart disease, and many other medical problems.”

Good Morning! When I breathe through my nose I feel like it helps to build heat in my body. If I am overheating I usually let out a big sigh through my mouth.

I feel like I have more breath control when I breath through my nose. With Ujjayi Breath you breath through the nose and let the breath swirl in the back of the throat, making a sighing sound. It really helps me draw equal, steady breaths because I listen to them. It helps me focus on my postures and get out of my mind.

I love breathing through my mouth to sigh out tension! I agree with Chaturanga, I find breathing out of the mouth to be cooling, and breathing through the nose to be heating.
