Before doing this meditation, you need to do some exercises to circulate your system.
- Sit in easy pose with the hands in Gyan mudra.
- Bring the wrists of both hands together at the diaphragm. The hands are at 90 degree angles to each other. The right hand is flexed upward with the palm facing left and the palm of the left hand is facing up with the fingers pointing out to the right. The mudra is resting against the diaphragm.
- Inhale and hold the breath. Focus on the spot where the mudra touches your body. Hold your breath for as long as you can without feeling too much pressure.
- Continue for 45 minutes, chanting mentally “Har”.
